Jack and I have returned from our trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, got back to Boston Saturday evening. Smooth trip down and back, flights went well, had a Kia Spectra for a rental car which served us well. Our efficiency at the Buccaneer Motel was good, and our host and hostess wonderful and hospitable. THE OUTER BANKS ARE BEAUTIFUL BEYOND WORDS!
So much sky, so much water surrounding these barrier islands, miles and miles of clean beaches.... And we had HOT summer weather. Saw wild horses, dolphins, dug into pirate history (Jack loved that), took boat rides, visited the aquarium, ate wonderful food, met lots of friendly folks from all over. Went swimming every day. We're in love!
